Agleam Labs

Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Agleam Labs (“Agleam Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a software engineering firm based in Bangladesh that delivers AI solutions, custom software, web and mobile applications, cloud, and related digital services to clients in Bangladesh and around the world. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or engage us for services.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to visitors of our website, prospective clients, clients and their authorised representatives, vendors and partners who interact with us digitally, and any individual whose personal information we process in connection with our software and consulting services.

If you engage Agleam Labs under a separate master services agreement, statement of work, or data processing addendum, that agreement may set additional terms for project-related data. Where there is a conflict for project delivery data, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use our website or communicate with us.

  • Identity and contact details: name, company, job title, email address, phone number, and office location.
  • Business enquiry details: project goals, budgets or timelines you choose to share, industry context, and message content submitted through forms or email.
  • Account or delivery communications: emails, meeting notes, and files you send us during discovery, delivery, or support.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, and similar analytics needed to improve site performance and content.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Responding to enquiries and preparing proposals for software, AI, PropTech, or cloud engagements.
  • Delivering contracted services, managing projects, and providing post-launch support.
  • Operating, securing, and improving our website and marketing communications (where permitted).
  • Complying with applicable laws in Bangladesh and in jurisdictions where we deliver work.
  • Preventing fraud, misuse, or security incidents related to our systems and services.

4. Legal bases and Bangladesh context

As a Bangladesh-based company serving domestic and international clients, we process personal information in line with applicable Bangladeshi laws and regulations, including obligations under the Information and Communication Technology Act, the Digital Security Act framework as applicable, and any data-protection rules that come into force, as well as contractual and confidentiality duties we owe clients.

When we process personal information of individuals in other countries (for example, clients in the UK, EU, USA, Middle East, or Asia), we also take into account privacy expectations and requirements that apply to that engagement, including contractual safeguards agreed with the client.

5. Client and project data

In software delivery, clients may provide access to business systems, content, credentials, end-user data, or other materials. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, that information remains the client’s responsibility and is processed only to perform the contracted services.

We expect clients to ensure they have a lawful basis to share any personal data of their employees, customers, or users with Agleam Labs, and to tell us about any special handling, residency, or security requirements before work begins.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use essential cookies required for security and basic operation, and optional analytics cookies to understand aggregate traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

Forms on this site are checked with Google reCAPTCHA v3. That check sends a token and technical details about the browser to Google so automated submissions can be rejected. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for how Google handles that information.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who support hosting, email, analytics, collaboration, or cloud infrastructure under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) when reasonably required.
  • Authorities when required by applicable law or valid legal process in Bangladesh or another relevant jurisdiction.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or business transfer, subject to continued protection of personal information.

8. International transfers

Because Agleam Labs serves clients worldwide and may use cloud providers with global infrastructure, personal information may be stored or processed outside Bangladesh. When we transfer or access data across borders, we apply reasonable contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data and the requirements of the client engagement.

9. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, or to resolve disputes. Enquiry records are typically retained for a reasonable business period; project records follow the retention terms in the relevant contract or our standard archival practice after project close.

10. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us promptly.

11. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or ask us to limit certain processing. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing emails at any time.

To exercise a request, email us using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If your data was provided by a Agleam Labs client (for example, as an end user of a system we built), we may redirect you to that client as the primary controller.

12. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are directed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of our website after an update constitutes notice of the revised policy, except where applicable law requires a different form of notice.
